The iron fist of Berlin

As Berlin explodes into a hot spot for contemporary art, The Biennial, which opened in early April, takes the opposite tack. Its title, “When Things Cast No Shadow,” suggests that “the visitor should look at the work itself, not the shadow, the hype, surrounding it.”
