As I was perusing through the New York Times yesterday, I happened to discover a special section of the paper: Business of Green, devoted to covering the latest in going green.
Among interesting stories were the cover article on green-collar jobs and one on college’s adopting a renewable energy major. Pressed between pages about the economic and housing slumps, the continued drought in the South, presidential elections, and corporate mergers, this section was a welcome sight.
Not to mention, it’s a good change of pace to know that so many people are taking a proactive approach to making this earth a happier and healthier place to live.
